Head Coach
Brian Castro
Coach Castro begins his 2nd season at the helm of the Gator Football program. Last year, Coach Castro guided the Varsity football program to a 5-5 record in his first season. He helped lead quality wins over Foothill and brought the Henderson Bowl back home to Green Valley with a come-from-behind win over Basic.
Coach Castro played offensive line at Bakersfield Junior College before transfering to UNLV in 1994. Coach Castro begin his high school coaching career with Coach Greg Murphy at Valley High School in 1998. He followed with Coach Murphy to Centennial High School in 2001. Coach Castro once again followed Coach Murphy to Green Valley High School in 2003. Coach Castro has been an Assistant Varsity Coach, head Junior Varsity Coach and now has taken the reigns as the Head Varsity Coach at Green Valley High School.
Coach Castro is working to continue the traditions and build the football program to a contender in the new Northeast League of the Sunrise Region.
